5/28/2009 Hanscom AFB, MA Fog, mist, cloudy, some rain, cold (40's, low 50's).
Today didn't work out the way we'd planned.
Bryant woke up feeling a little off, so they delayed their trip to our trailer until afternoon. When they did arrive, it was obvious Bryant was off, and Susan wasn't much better. I have a feeling all the efforts (all of which were emotional) of the past couple of weeks have just caught up with them.
But we gave Bryant a tour of the trailer, taking about a minute. We had little snacks and non-alchoholic drinks. We chatted. D showed pictures on the Macbook.
It became apparent that they should go home and rest, in order to get better and face the problems of next week in getting ready to move. So we went out to a sandwich place down the road, where we ate and chatted some more.
Then we said our goodbyes and Susan & Bryant headed home. It was prior to rush hour, so they'll get home at a good time.
We're settling in for a quiet evening. We'll wait until after rush hour tomorrow, then move to Mystic, CT.
